So is the ability to supply in due time, and the Master Planning in Dynamics 365 is a central element in ensuring coverage of any of the demand expressed, whether that be sales, productions, critical minimum stock, seasonal peaks, expected demand, or intercompany dependencies. 

Knowing that this is being a calculation-heavy part, Microsoft has improved the functionality by adding in Planning Optimization service outside the traditional ERP-platform accessible via a connector.
