Finance & Supply Chain

We know ERP and feel proud about the solutions we aided to life for our customers in projects of various complexity and size.

Why choose us?

The main bulk of our know-how rests on decades of working with the ERP-platform that Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain describes today with an inherited base from Dynamics AX 2012 and further back through the versions. When Microsoft decided to go for cloud implementation from 2016, we knew we needed to follow, and we definitely agree that the Microsoft stack of scalable infrastructure, business software, and secured accessibility from anywhere is the right blend.

Our services:

General:
Being able to understand your business processes with its full meaning, both rule-based, culture-based, and the necessary restrains, or those that need to go, demands more than written documents. It demands working with people too, trying out interpretations, and even playing the role as your counterpart sometimes. Choosing Dynamics 365 Finance, presents many well-known processes that just needs a demo, and you are good to go, but others will spur a debate about procedures that you probably need to change or adapt for the better.

In general, we aim to not change the standard functionality. Rather we will suggest following what the standard offers and how you utilize it in the right way to achieve what you need. During this “search for the truth” we will recognize if changes or additions are recommended to the standard, and we are capable in developing new code as well.

Production:

For industries, the production module is the most sought-after module in Dynamics 365. It will handle discrete productions, kanban productions, and batch productions with the costing from sub-productions and their use of raw materials and services being rolled up automatically, and with full traceability of items used, which is a supporting component for GMP/GDP for pharma.

If you are familiar with the production module from an AX 2012 then be amazed by the extensions offered on the cloud-based solution of Dynamics 365, where Production Execution provides terminals with a design crafted especially to the production floor with overview and big buttons. Time and Attendance is an integrated part, where time spend on production jobs are registered, which both drives the cost on the production and calculate the basis for salaries in accordance with union agreements or contractual agreements with the workers.

It is worth noticing that Time and Attendance is also usable in relation to project module, or if your shop floor consists of service stations that performs activities that are best described as service rather than jobs related to a production.

Warehouse Management:

The warehouse management in Dynamics 365 allows for setting up warehouse handling ranging from simple to very complex. Picking routes can be optimized and categorised to comply with restrictions and zones whilst adding quality management into the mix depending on how strict you prefer it. You can register or pick in one easy step or in a more elaborate two-step procedure with staging locations in between. It has out-of-the-box integration with any scanner that runs a ready-to-use warehouse app for Android operating systems. No third-party software is necessary.

Supply chain:

Logistics is the key to win. So is the ability to supply in due time, and the Master Planning in Dynamics 365 is a central element in ensuring coverage of any of the demand expressed, whether that be sales, productions, critical minimum stock, seasonal peaks, expected demand, or intercompany dependencies.

Knowing that this is being a calculation-heavy part, Microsoft has improved the functionality by adding in Planning Optimization service outside the traditional ERP-platform accessible via a connector.

Finance and administration:

Everything you expect and require to for your bookkeeping, tax handling, audit, collection procedures, payments, and then so much more that you will find the scalability and complexity needed in Dynamics 365 to grow your business to enterprise levels without having the trouble of contemplating whether your solution is adequate some years down the road. Your everyday work gets organised by the Workspaces ready for use like “Credit and collections”, “Budgeting”, or “Cash overview” (build in Power BI-report) just to mention a few.

For enterprise level companies Dynamics 365 continues to offer the “next level” possibilities you crave through utilizing the components found in the Microsoft stack like Power BI, apps for expense registration, integration to bank, compliance with regulations for larger companies, predict customer payments, dual-write (shared data on shared tables) integration with CRM, and more. The comprehensive list of options to choose from is worth studying.
