I actually genuinely like my customers

In my work life I have always tried my best to be my customer’s advocate. I have a genuine interest in the different layers and levels of needs of my customer. Management’s need for solid, meaningful and useful KPI’s, the general user’s need for ease of use and their customer’s needs, is a challenging and demanding area to work in. But if you crack it and make people understand and embrace the competing values within the organizations as well as work together to resolve and create valid solutions … then it is all worth it. It is about doing the right things right.

Working for Pingala is great. Here we actually put ourselves before the customer. But how does that not contradict what I just wrote above? Well I have always thought, that if organizations are good at putting their employees first … these will take motivated good care of the customers. And that is what we do at Pingala. Pingala has one official manager. But apart from that, there are 100+ leaders, owners and a great sense of responsibility within every one of us … which the customers should benefit from.

I have spent quite some time of my career being a customer and on the receiving end of IT consultancy services. The best experiences I have had … by far … is when I have really invited an IT partner in. So, I encourage customers to invite us in … all in. Let us get to know you and develop sound knowledge and empathy for you. Let us work together as colleagues. Educate us and allow us to educate you. Let us form a real partnership and not a supplier-customer one. Once you have tried this, you will understand the difference.
