Confidence, orderliness and long-term relationships are the key words for me in my work and in my relationships with my clients. Motto: Give clients what they really need, not necessarily what they are asking for.

Trust

My clients must be confident that we will deliver a proper solution that is exactly what they need. I have been in the industry since 1997 with a background as an IT and Accounting Manager in a large business. My experience is that clients obviously have an in-depth understanding of what they need when it comes to improving their business. But often when they ask for specific adaptations to their system, we have to have a talk about what they want to achieve in a larger perspective. Often adaptations are not the right solution or are only part of a solution. I've seen too many reinventions of the wheel that only helped the ERP supplier’s wallet and not the clikent’s business. It is a great pleasure for me to be employed at Pingala, where it is a point of honor to always deliver the best and most reasonable solution.

Propriety

It is my premise that you should treat other people properly and I expect to be treated properly. I take pride in delivering a proper solution that meets the client’s requirements and expectations. I learned as a child that there is nothing is “good enough”; a job is either done well or done poorly.

Long-term relationships

Relationships are based on trust, understanding and a lot of things that do not come out of the blue, but develop over time. Long-term relationships are an advantage for both parties; in-depth knowledge of the client's business and employees makes it easier to advise and carry out any task.

A bit on my background:

I have a very calm personality and am good at keeping my head in a crisis.

From 1988–1997, I worked as an IT and accounting manager in a large Copenhagen business, but was really a bit of a “handyman at the chocolate factory”, namely, the one who did the bookkeeping, payroll, shipping, hung shelves on the wall, made adjustments to the IT systems and everything else.

I'm mostly an autodidact programmer, though at one point I studied computer science for a year aside from my full time job.

When I started in the IT industry, one could almost handle everything: hardware, software, repairs, maintenance and adaptations. With this background, I have often been on fire-fighting duty after system failures or other serious issues. It’s not beneath me to give a hand, regardless of the job, when things just have to be ready.
